The questions "where do we come from?" and "what are we made of?" have been answered for quite some time. Different theories argue their position regarding our genesis. We commonly stick to what is tangible. But will this attachment to truthfulness be the reason we become desensitized?

Consciousness of our existence has thrown us into collective arrogance. We applaud ridiculousness and exalt stupidity. Curiosity is not peculiar to humans, we can observe it in irrational animals. Riposte found in bookshelves, treasure with lost value, turned into relics that few appreciate. Contemporary thinkers perceived as romantics or traditionalists. Perhaps it's true.

In the age of detraction we've become an extension of our devices. They can see through our naivety as if our foreheads were transparent. We're creatures impatiently waiting for our turn to empty ourselves. Attention that will only last for a brief moment then obliviate.
